Additional parameters for cross table display

Dashboard block

Vertical and horizontal keys

Cross table display shows data as a bidimensional matrix, using one of the output dimensions as horizontal dimension, while another set of output dimensions will be used for vertical keying of the data.

The cell content is assemble on basis of what has been entered in the standard output field list. It will display a single value if only one output field has been chosen, or a n-uplet result if the output list has more than one output field.

Formatting key display

The key values (values of the horizontal and vertical matrix keys) can be formatted using a “sprintf” syntax formatter.

Read more about formatting using sprintf.

Split the table on

If defined, the distinct values of the given column will split the global query result into separate tables. Note that for this separation to give significant display, the query must sort the data on this column.

Display totals

  • Horizontal: If enabled, an additional output column is added to give a sum of the row.
  • Vertical: If enabled, an additional data line is added giving the sum of the column.

Note that only the first output value is summated (in case the output cell is a n-uplet).

Labels

  • Vertical labels: Gives the attribute visible name of the composite vertical keying.
  • Horizontal label: Gives the visible name of the horizontal keying attribute.
