This plugin is a key feature for making moodle simpler to use for teachers and edition habilitated people. It will allow to build profiles applicable to users and filter the available items to choose in smaller lists, hiding unused or non relevant items.
This plugin uses a set of core patches to plug the plugin availability restrictions in some key locations of the code so the menus offered to editing teachers are filtered.
Profiles are presets storing a list of proposed plugins per edition profile. Plugins can be applied to users by administrator, but users may also be allowed to apply themselves to a profile, adding plugins to what they already have allowed for their own.
Users may or may not be allowed to equip themselves, in addition to the preset profile administrators may xhoose for them.
A default profile can be defined for incoming users, so any user at first login, may receive a list of available plugins, where and when they will access to some course edition capability.
This plugin use a set of code patchs that may be intrusive to some central scripts and library of moodle. It may be used only by experimented integrators controlling quite well the upgrade operations and code maintenance on moodle.

Travis-ci Continuous integration
Note : Failing status is not necessarily the sign of a non functioning module. It just says that the Moodle code standards check are not full filling. This is a continuous effort of us rewriting the plugin code to get it compliant.
